Oil & Gas Experience 31 years, Mudlogging Experience 7 years, Wellsite Supervision 14 years (Updated March 17, 2011)

Francis attended the University of Oregon until 1976. He obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering and went on to earn a second degree in Business Administration. He worked in various aspects of Oil Industry from 1980 to 1990, then went into Mudlogging for 7 years before he discovered his passion was in Geological Wellsite Supervision to which he has devoted the last 14 years of his career. Francis has logged 256 vertical, directional, and horizontal wells to date acquiring experience which spans the entire Western Canada Sedimentary basin from NE British Columbia to the SW corner of Manitoba.

Francis has operated as an Independent working for himself, for various consulting firms, and for numerous Oil & Gas Companies. Has first well for Wellsite Geologists Inc. (formerly called Runnning Horse Resources) was in September 2000 and it is nice to have Francis back on team. He is a dedicated and detail conscious Wellsiter. All of Fancis’ courses reflect his passion for Geology.
