Personal Profile
Munir earned a Master of Science in Petroleum Exploration from the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry in 1976. Following graduation, he did geologic wellsite supervision for 4 years and for the next 16 years worked at various geologic disciplines for both in the private sector and the Yemen government. In 1996, Munir emigrated to Canada and worked for Transglobe energy for 6 months. In the winter of 2004, Munir joined the Wellsite Geologists’ team of consultants and spent the winter in Northeastern B.C. on a horizontal project.
